This project was born from a curiosity to explore political activities and event in the UK that are often held in the public imagination (or my own) as abstract and disconnected from most of our everyday lives. Within these subjects – whether they’re protests, evictions or grassroots party activists – I am looking for moments to photograph that can upset the balance of my own assumptions, that might hold, on inspection, some hidden meaning – Harry Mitchell
