Palm* Photo Prize Submission Open 1-30 March 2021

Palm Photo Prize is open to photographers working in all disciplines and styles. Submit your work for a chance to be shortlisted and featured in the exhibition at East Photographic Gallery

Due to high levels of submissions, entrants are limited to two images per person, any submissions over this amount cannot be considered. There are no themes and strong stand-alone images are encouraged.

 

Please Note:

  • Entries must be in .JPG file format 
  • All successful images will be printed by our sponsor SPECTRUM (C-type matt)
  • 100 Selected images will be displayed as part of the Palm* Photo Prize exhibition at East Photographic Gallery
  • The files submitted must be of a photographic nature (i.e., no scans of paintings/drawings)
  • All exhibited submissions will be printed full bleed.

We will notify you upon successful selection.

East: Up and Coming Award

The photography agency East would like to present one recipient with an ‘Up & Coming Award’. The chosen recipient will be a stand out, emerging talent that is pursuing a career in editorial & commercial photography.

The winner will receive a three meeting mentorship with East’s global team of agents, focussing on a portfolio review (print or digital portfolio), as well as an editorial & commercial strategy to help the recipient with the next steps in their career.

Criteria for the East: Up & Coming Award

  • Not represented by a photography agency or gallery, currently or prior to the application.
  • Commitment to attend three meetings with East (virtually or in person TBC).
