Alberto Figueroa

Alberto Figueroa (b.1995) is a California-based photographer, musician and visual artist. Primarily working in photography, his work revolves around intimacy, human connection and self enlightenment. At a young age, Figueroa, like many of his generation, found interest in photography while documenting images with his mobile phone’s built-in camera. These images captured his everyday life moments — hanging out with friends, skating and cityscapes that he saw on his daily commutes.

At 15, his journey within photography eventually lead him to discover film. The new found medium in photography reinvigorated his love for his practice and allowed him to take a more tactile approach to his work.

“Somewhere In Between” a philosophical and spiritual approach to fatherhood as a young artist. A compiled set of images taken over the course of about two year’s reflecting on change, love, solitude and adulting.
