Bastian likes to describe his body of work as a personal view on photography rather than corresponding to a specific category. He perceives reality in an unaffected way and finds beauty far from contrived settings.

Bastian has graduated as a Bachelor of the Arts with a degree in Photography. He divides his time between Berlin & New York.
