Guilherme da Silva

I’m Guilherme da Silva, I’m based in Sao Paulo, Brazil. I’m a photographer since I was a teenager, I guess not much had changed at all since then and my interests and aspirations are still the same.

I have always taken pictures of my friends and people I met online, most of them part of the LGBTQIA+ community, just like me. As a queer person, I would say that it’s been a journey of self discovery, and it makes me want to try to figure out a balance between my aesthetic and the message I want to send through my photography.

I’m very inspired by Nan Goldin and David Armstrong.
