Maxime La

Under The Rose Lace is the first book series by Maxime La. It encompasses photographs taken in Cambodia and Vietnam through the mission of meeting his father’s mother, who had been out of contact since the Khmer Rouge took power 45 years ago.

Maxime (b. 1993) is a photographer raised between France and the US. He received his Bachelor of Fine Arts from the Maryland Institute College of Art, and began his career in New York before eventually moving to Paris. He is now living in Paris and splits his time working between Europe and the US.
