Maximilian Virgili

Maximilian Virgili (*1989, Karlsruhe, Germany) lives and works as a freelance photographer in Berlin. After graduating from the University of Siegen with a Bachelor of Arts in 2013 he worked as an assistant to photographer and artist Peter Granser. Besides a strong focus on personal projects he mainly works for national and international editorial clients.
His work deals with the trivial and grotesque, the interference of humans with their environmental surrounding, between staging and coincidence.
His first book „Out of Office“ – a retrospective of travel impressions from the last years – will be out at the end of 2020.
