Melchior Tersen

Parisian photographer Melchior Tersen’s style is direct with a snapshot aesthetic and always analog in execution. Deeply inspired by the pre-internet era of his youth, he takes his reference and visual cues from 90s pop culture like rap, fast food and Manga (Japanese comics). His passion for collecting stems from childhood and includes fabric patches from Metal bands, scarves and stickers of PSG (Paris football club) and T-shirts and whether it’s his fashion or documentary images, these themes reverberate through his work. His aim is to represent its subjects with a level of sensitivity no matter how humble their background.
