Rosie Brock is a photographer focused on exploring the relationship between the underlying mythicism of the American South and the region’s current socio-economic reality. Born in Charleston, South Carolina and raised in both Gulf Coast Florida and Virginia, Brock is heavily inspired by her childhood observations, familial history, and Southern gothic literature. She is currently completing her final semester of the BFA Photography and Video Program at the School of Visual Arts in New York City.
