Palm Photo Prize is open to photographers working in all disciplines and styles. Submit your work for a chance to be shortlisted and featured in the exhibition at House of Vans opening 10 May 2018.

Submissions open 5 – 20 April 2018 | FREE to submit

One image per person. There is no theme, so strong stand alone images are encouraged.

How to submit:

Sign up for a free creativehub account: hub.theprintspace.co.uk

  1. Upload your image file by clicking ‘upload’ on the top menu.
  2. Complete the image name and description by clicking the “i” button, bottom right of the image filling in the details and clicking save.
  3. Share images with photoprize@palmstudios.co.uk
  4. Enter your project name in the Project Name box. In the message box put your phone number in case we need to contact you.
  5. Tick Download & Print permissions.
  6. Under “Print Permissions” set your print size by entering 15” on the longest side. Select C-type and Matt paper.
  7. Click “Share now”.
  • Entries must be in .JPG file format (saved as 8bit RGB) and sized to 15″ on the longest side 300dpi
  • Images will be printed on Fuji Crystal Archive Matt.
  • 100 Selected images will be displayed as part of the Palm Photo Prize exhibition at House of Vans.
  • The files submitted must be of a photographic nature (i.e., no scans of paintings/drawings)
  • All exhibited submissions will be printed full bleed.

Once submissions have been received and selected, images will be printed by our sponsor theprintspace in London.

  • Submissions for the Palm Photo Prize are open from 5 April –  till midnight (GMT) till 20 April 2018. Any files submitted after this time will not be accepted.
  • Palm Photo Prize opening night: Thursday 10 May 6 – 10pm.
  • Exhibition open to the public 10 May – 3 June 2018 (Thu & Fri 4 – 10pm | Sat 10 – 8 pm | Sun 12 – 6 pm).
  • Winners of the Judges Panel 1st & 2nd Place, People’s Choice Award and People’s Choice Instagram Award will be announced online 4 June 2018.
  • Voting in the People’s Choice Award will take place 10 May 2018 at Palm Photo Prize | House of Vans, Arches, 228-232 Station Approach Rd, Lambeth, London SE1 8SW

Pricing information:

  • All winning entrants will have the option to opt-in to print sales using the creativehub service.
  • All images are printed 15″ width and will be sold for £100 | 30% Palm commission, 70% given back to the entrant, minus print cost and VAT.
  • Each entrant is permitted to submit one image only.

After the Photo Prize:

Once the exhibition has closed on 3 June 2018, all remaining prints will be destroyed.
